Chanel Debuts French Riviera Inspired Makeup Line

Chanel’s latest cosmetic venture hits close to the brands home. Their new Summer 2015 makeup line is inspired by the 1920s French Riviera, which was a known favorite vacationing spot of the legendary Coco Chanel.

Last season, Chanel put its focus on vibrant lips but this season, it’s all about a dewy summer glow and bronze eyes. The featured look is a natural, dewy complexion with a touch of bronzer, gold smokey eyes, and a sheer coral lip.

This season, the Chanel team is also bringing you a makeup bag must-have in the form of the Stylo Eyeshadow. The eyeshadow pen allows for precise application and leaves a cool sensation post-application that is perfect for a hot summer in the Riviera.

Summer vacation may be months away, but we can’t help but daydream with Chanel’s Summer 2015 makeup line. The collection will hit makeup counters on May 5.
